The NABERS Energy and Water for Hotels Rules are used by Assessors to rate the energy and water performance of hotels.
NABERS ratings must be performed by a NABERS Accredited Assessor and comply with the quality standard set in the principles and rules for gathering, interpreting and using data.
The latest version of the rules is Version 4.1.
What's new in this version?
- Incorporated 'serviced apartments' to be classified as typical hotels.
- Clarifications on section 4.3.2 for identifying out-of-service guest rooms.
- Removal of content regarding treatment of metering systems and consumption data. Content has been replaced with references to the NABERS Metering and Consumption Rules.
- Incorporated the Quality Star Rating for Hotels Ruling into the Rules.
- Amendments to certain content in line with migration of the rating tool to NABERS Perform.
- Restructure to align with NABERS Rules house style.
- Clarifications and editorial changes in various sections to enhance readability.
