NABERS is a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of Australian buildings and tenancies.
Put simply, NABERS measures the energy efficiency, water usage, waste management and indoor environment quality of a building or tenancy and its impact on the environment.
What is NABERS?
NABERS can be used to measure a building’s energy efficiency, carbon emissions, as well as the water consumed, the waste produced and compare it to similar buildings.
Governance
NABERS is a national government program administered by the NSW Government (the National Administrator) and overseen by a national Steering Committee.
