Australia’s first carbon neutral building

News | 18 Dec 2018

Congratulations Frasers Property – owners of the first carbon neutral certified building in Australia (Building F, 1 Homebush Bay Drive, Rhodes 2138).

Building F achieved a NABERS Energy rating of 5.5 stars using a combination of energy efficiency measures, including building monitoring and tuning, along with a 100 kW solar system to minimise energy use onsite.

The building also uses 20% GreenPower on its remaining energy demand.

Frasers has offset any remaining emissions generated by the building by investing in forest conservation projects in Tasmania and Zimbabwe as well as a Thai cement biomass project.
