    The NABERS Essentials e-Learning course provides an overview of the program and is for anyone who wants to know more about NABERS.     The course is essential for anyone involved in commercial property, such as owners, managers, tenants, real estate agents, lawyers, valuers, and consultants, as well as professionals in sustainability and energy management. It is also becoming increasingly relevant for professionals working in the finance industry.

    NABERS Essentials is a prerequisite for the NABERS Accredited Assessor Course (valid for 2 years from the date of completion).

  • What it covers

    • NABERS uses, principles and objectives
    • the benefits of a performance rating
    • an explanation of the star ratings
    • current and future rating types and program development
    • minimum NABERS Energy targets for government and industry mandatory requirements
    • how to undertake self assessments and accredited NABERS ratings, and
    • the NABERS auditing process.

    The course consists of six modules that each takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. If you can’t complete a module in one sitting, you can exit it and return to where you left it when you return. At the end of the course you will be able to download a certificate of completion.

  • Registration

    Register for the NABERS Essentials course through the NABERS online training portal NABERS Learn.

    Note that NABERS Essentials is a compulsory prerequisite for the NABERS Accreditation Course. Trainees must complete the course within 2 years of registering for the NABERS Assessor Accreditation Course. You will need to register for the Accredited Assessor Course separately.
